5 for Friday May 29, 2015

Whew! After today I am 1/2 way done with my first session of summer school and 1/4 done with all my summer school!! YAY! I am linking up with Kacey at Doodle Bugs Teaching for 5 for Friday!

We had ONE nice day this week, the rest of the time it has rained! Boo! It has rained so much our soccer fields are flooded and our last games this weekend are cancelled :( boo! But even with the rain we managed to have a super fun week!

Saturday we went to my aunt's farm. It was my grandmother's farm until she passed away. It was good to see my family and the kids had a BALL fishing, riding, 4 wheelers, playing with cousins and all kinds of animals and riding horses, but it was super hard missing my dad.

My end of the school year, Mother's Day, Anniversary present arrived!!! I absolutely LOVE it! It is the perfect size and has the two pockets on the outside under the flap which I put my keys and phone in the smaller one and my EC style planner in the bigger one. Then at the very top there is a zipper which opens to a huge pocket where I put my new matching wallet and other stuff! It ALSO has a zipper pocket on the back! The shoulder strap is adjustable so I can make it long enough to wear as a cross body! I LOVE the pattern!

This week at summer school we are reviewing fractions. It has been rough! They are having such a hard time with them but I think the activities we have done have helped them have a better idea of them! We focused on representing fractions, reducing or simplifying fractions, equivalent fractions and putting them in order on a number line. They struggled the most with the number line.

Wednesday was our one nice day! So, after Zumba (go me) Blake and I went to opening night of our local minor league baseball team, The Mustangs. It was teacher appreciation night so we got in free and it Ladies night so I got a free drink. It was fun there were lots of people from work there. Blake loved it! The mustangs won too!

Last night my hubby had a late case and then worked off duty so the kids and I went to try out our new Freddy's! I had been before in Wichita, and the boys had been there for Frozen in Springfield. We decided ours was just as good.
Ava recommends the cheese fries!!!

That's it! Hope you had a great week and have a good weekend!
