5 for Friday May, 8

This is my first time linking up with 5 for Friday over at Doodle Bugs Teaching.fiveforfriday2_thumb3_thumb2

It has been a LONG week, month (yes I know it's only the 8th) year! Anyway!

I grabbed this from Doodle Bugs Teaching as it is perfect!  We have 3 1/2 student days and then 1 1/2 teacher work days, left! Course then I have only 3 days before summer school starts and one of those includes a Summer School meeting...but regular school is almost over!

This week with teacher appreciation week we were spoiled ALL week long!
Monday - We received the water bottles that you can put fruit in the center of with candy and other goodies! AND bagels with cream cheese from Panera.
Tuesday - We recieved yummy doughnuts from our Sister School. (and my floor brought in food for Cinco De Mayo)
Wednesday - We were treated to Rib Crib which is super yummy BBQ.
Thursday - The principal provided us with Crumbly Burger and chips.
Friday - The principal gave us ice cream sundaes!

Not to mention the TPT sale! I stocked up!

So I really enjoyed all of it but after this weekend it will be time to get back on track with better food choices and regular exercise! But how can you say no?

Kaden my oldest won his grade level Science Fair! We are so super proud of him!!!

Today was our play day in the afternoon which consisted of lots of water, yelling and screaming and lots of fun! But I am so incredibly tired!

This was my station. They were supposed to try to pour the water IN the bottle! The kids were very good and none of them tried to throw water directly at me. I just got a LOT of  VERY wet hugs!

The schedule has been crazy with end of the year activities so I have barely been able to pull my groups at all (not to mention I get pulled to cover when there aren't enough subs). I miss my kiddos! But I DO have a giveaway going on until tomorrow night for a Custom Room Decor! Check it out!

Sorry for such a visually disappointing post!

  1. Wow! I am sooo envious you have a few days to go. We still have about 4 weeks left. Sounds like ya'll got treated to some yummy treats for Teacher Appreciation week. Us too! Happy summer vacation!

  2. Welcome to the (linky) party!! We are SO CLOSE to the end of the school year! Only 11 full days left (the last day is a Spring Fling Festival), and still so much more to do! PS - I envy your PANERA! The nearest one for me is about 40 minutes away in Mobile, AL (I'm on the MS Gulf Coast). We did get some super yummy donuts this week, more pizza today! I'm right there with you as far as getting back on track with my eating habits!

  3. Wow, you're almost finished for the year! I have 29 days left or something like that. At this point, I'm still thinking somehow I'll get to all of the things I haven't taught yet! I'm in denial. It happens every year. Have a wonderful last few days!
