TPT Challenge Week 2 - Dare to Dream

Hiya! I'm back for week 2 of the TPT Seller's Challenge. Hosted by Third In Hollywood, The Peppy Zesty Teacherista, Teach Create Motivate and Sparkling in Second.

This week's theme is Dare to Dream.

Since leaving my full time teaching job (and not getting another one) I have been subbing - which is GREAT! But not consistent. It finally dawned on me in April that TPT could help with that! I have been working super hard on building my store and promoting it and I am seeing results!!!

My goals for my store are:
Be a Missouri Top 50 seller - or the first page! I am in the Top 150 right now but I want to be on that front page!
Attend the TPT Conference next year! I can't imagine how much it would help my store to get to go so I feel like it is a win win! I want to use my earnings from my store to pay for it as well!

My personal dreams are:
A new car! I need one for our growing (literally the boys grow a foot a week I swear) family. And I have had my current one for 8 years! If I get a teaching position this will be my first purchase, if not I need to save up enough to put towards a new one to make the payments super low!
Disney - I want to take my family to Disney so bad! I have never been and my kids all love Disney! I want to use my TPT earnings to pay for it! I plan to take the trip in two years!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my dreams!

This has been a GREAT week for me!.
We started second session of summer school which is called Edison Experience. It helps give title, lower income students "experiences". I have 2nd and 3rd graders and they are awesome!

I am working really hard to continue to get fit this summer! I am down another 4.2 pounds (17.8 total) and I survived my first kickboxing AND strength training class last night!
Not going to lie I am SORE today! I hope it will really help me SEE results in the way my body looks and not just  the number on the scale!
That's all this week! See ya next week!

Work It Wednesday 6/17

Hiya! I am linking up again with Katie from Queen of the First Grade Jungle for...
I love that she is hosting this linky this summer!
It has been a rough week for me.
I got sick Friday night - like throwing up sick! I can't remember the last time I threw up.
So I pretty much barely moved Saturday and Sunday. I even missed Zumba Saturday.
It's also THAT time of the month...which always makes working out and making good food choices SO much harder for me! Anyone else have that problem?
But I did walk two miles Tuesday and went to Zumba and went to Zumba again tonight!
I had TWO students (I'm still teaching summer school right now) tell me I had FAT legs/calves today.
Not going to lie that HURT! I have THICK calves - it must be genetic because even when I was a size 4 they were THICK.
However it did motivate me to work as hard as I can to make them as small as genetically possible!
I am going to try a Kickboxing and Strength training class tomorrow.
I'm a wee bit scared! I am not a weights girl!
But I feel like I need to kick things up a notch to see some major changes!
I bought a set of hand weights to work on my Bye-Bye arms (you have Bye and so does your arm, know what I'm saying). So please share your tricep moves with me!
And I have been eating really well (except for a can of Dr, Pepper the last two days) but tomorrow is a new day and no more! It's a good thing I love chicken because it's so easy! I could eat it for dinner every night! This summer we might! Lucky for me hubby likes it to and will grill it!
Until next week, keep moving forward!

TPT Challenge: Week 1 Makeover Madness

Hiya! I am linking up with 4 super awesome, AMAZING teachers today for the TPT Challenge! It is being hosted by Third in Hollywood, Sparkling in Second, Teach Create Inspire and The Peppy Zesty Teacherista

It's not too late to join so go check out their blogs to join in the fun

This week is Makeover Madness! Which is perfect because I am currently working on redoing many of the products in my store!!! I looked it up and I have been a member of TPT since 2010! WOW! I remember I started when I taught 4th grade Science and was having to write curriculum and start from scratch! I uploaded them and didn't think much about it! I became a "premium" member In August of 2013. My sales have slowly increased without much efffort. HOWEVER, now with no full time job, exisiting on subbing TPT has become a major source of income for me so this summer it has been my goal to completely re-do my store and update any products that need it. - UM that is turning out to be several! WHAT WAS I THINKING BACK THEN...oh wait I wasn't! lol

First up is a 100 Dresses Reader Response page I used in my classroom each year in 4th. I love the book. However that is all it was - one little page, MADE IN WORD, no pictures no graphics, this is close to what it looked like. Can you even believe it ever sold - let alone was in my top 10!?!?

Click on the picture to Grab it while it is on sale.

So I redid the whole thing (cause it was in word so I had to redo it in power point anyway).
I redid the original page.
Added 6 more pages so there are several more activities.
Added a cover!!!
I also added some clip art to make it a little more interesting!!!

What do you think?

I have two other products that I have redone this summer as well.

My book recommendation form - there are now 2 versions and they have clip art!

and
My Scientific Process Hand out I really worked this one over! It went from one sheet, no cover, made in word, to 9 pages of Scientific Process activities, notebook pages, worksheets and more!

Scientific Process or Method Activities, Worksheets, Noteb

My blog is also getting a MAJOR makeover too! I am so excited about it! Gabby's Classrooms did an AMAZING job! IT is so me. She used my custom colors I created for my classroom and the polka dots too! I love it!! It should be ready THIS week!

I am struggling with updating some things in my store. For instance how do you go about pricing when you add LOTS of pages? Some things I combined products that were previously separate, so do you create a new listing, edit one of the listings? Any feedback and tips you have for this girl who's store is in a MAJOR Makeover would be greatly appreciated!

See ya next week for another challenge!

I received my Amazon order with Teaching with Intention by Debbie Miller for a book study (which I fully intent to blog about I just haven't gotten around to it yet! and THE MOST AWESOME phone case ever!
I just love it!
[Divider%25202%255B5%255D.png]
Last Saturday I took my oldest to the St. Joseph Mustangs game (local minor league baseball team). The group I do Zumba with lead the players in 3 routines before the game!
Kaden did a great job!
The game was super fun!

In between each inning there are games and during what was supposed to be a DICE game our friends got engaged!

They rolled the dice from way up high and it said Will You Marry Me? - Normally there are numbers.

 Super cute!

[Divider%25203%255B5%255D.png]

In our last week of summer school we made Ocean Layers bottles!

The KIDS LOVED it!
 and it was sooooo easy!

[Divider%25204%255B5%255D.png]

It was also finally warm enough to feel like summer and go to the pool this week!

My kids LOVE the water (any water) and we love our huge aquatic park which is just a couple blocks away!
