How to Watermark Photos on your Phone

Hiya! I wanted to share real quick with you how I watermark my photos quickly on my phone.

First of all you need the Rhonna Designs App. It is a 1.99 but it is TOTALLY worth it!
It is available for iphone, ipad, Android and Windows devices and Windows desktop 8.1 and higher!
This tutorial is using an iphone 6.

Open the app! This is what it looks like on my phone! Yes I have a LOT of photography apps! It's the Krafty part of me! ;)

Choose the icon that looks like a filmstrip to go to your camera roll.

From there click on camera roll, or dropbox which ever has your photo. I am using my #widn from Instagram the other day.

Next you will crop your photo. Remember to choose square if you are posting to Instagram.

Then to add your watermark click the T in the top left corner, It will bring up your fonts list. I chose Italics basic which is an add on but you can choose any. A font box will appear on the screen that says DOUBLE TAP TO EDIT. Do so and it will bring up a keyboard.

Type what you want your watermark to say. The copy write symbol was in my emojis! It defaults to white which is what we want for our watermark. You can change the font simply by clicking on any of the fonts at the bottom of the screen. You can also resize using the dot in the bottom right corner. Position it where you would like, I almost always use the bottom left hand corner.

Next we are going to make it lighter. While you have the text open click on the 3 lines in the top right hand corner. It will bring up the above menu. We are going to choose TRANSPARENCY.

You will slide the dot to the left to make the text more transparent and less obtrusive to your picture. Click done when you are happy with the way it looks.

Then click the 3 lines in the top right again and choose SHARE to save your picture.

I usually click SAVE IMAGE which saves the picture to your camera roll, but as you can see there are other options as well.

And viola you have a watermarked photo to share on social media and protect your brand!!!

Did you find this helpful? Questions still leave me a comment or email me!

TPT Sellers Challenge - Follow Frenzy

Hiya!
I am back for the last week SAD face :( of the TPT Seller's Challenge.
BIG Thanks to Third in Hollywood, Teach, Create, Motivate, Sparkling in Second, and Peppy Zesty Teacherista
This week the challenge was Follow Frenzy.
This week was also the TPT conference in Las Vegas which I did not get to attend SAD face again.
However, Angie at Lucky Little Learners and Ashley from Shroeder's Shenanigans in 2nd introduced us all to Periscope and made us feel like we were there!
I have made so many connections this past month through the TPT sellers challenge and especially this week from periscope and the #FindYourTribe movement I can't even begin to explain how happy it has made my heart! I love it when teachers come together! I love Angie and Ashley's hashtag together we are better and I am going to have to check that link up out!
Any way there are 3 blogger TPTers I feel like I have learned the most about this past month and so those are the three I am picturing - I made my graphic like Wednesday before Periscope and everything went crazy but I am just now blogging about it!!!
And truth be told they might not even know that I exist! I just think they are super great bloggers and they inspire me!

But the and so many more is so, so, so, so, true too! I am so amazed at all the teacher love going around the web right now!

Anyone looking ahead to next year and trying to figure out how to get to Vegas?
Start saving now! That is what I HAVE to do so I made some fun Saving for Vegas sheets and posted them on TPT just click below to go download them!

5 for Friday 7/10

Hiya! It's Friday, already? AGAIN. This week flew by! It was my last week of summer school and now I am officially on  summer break! YAY!
fiveforfriday2_thumb[3]_thumb[2]

So let's get to the 5 for Friday with Doodle Bugs Teaching!

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend! Friday night we went to my good teacher friend Shelly's (The Chewsy Teacher on TPT -she's just starting out) for a BBQ - the kids had a great time. Saturday Andrew was on call so we stayed home and grilled with the neighbors.

I am not a super huge fan of spending lots of money one something you blow up but I do like the lanterns!

I have really enjoyed the TPT Sellers Challenge this summer - this week I finished up the Make your Masterpiece challenge by Finishing this 1st Grade Back to School Activity Pack!!

This last week of Summer School was super fun! We went on two field trips.
First to the Remington Nature Center where we learned about birds. This is a GREAT place for a day trip or for a Field trip - especially for 4th grade Missouri curriculum!!

and then we went to Rosecrans Air Guard Base and got to see their Fire Department and inside a C130! So cool!

I was super sad to not get to go to the TPT Conference in Vegas this year. I attended the I Teach K in Vegas 8 years ago and it was the best teacher conference I have ever been to so I can only imagine what the TPT one is like! I was worried that I was going to be super jelly.....until I saw Luck Little Learners post about Periscope! I jumped on the bandwagon and have been watching live broadcasts from Vegas!
So what is this "Periscope"?
It is an app by Twitter that allows anyone to broadcast videos LIVE.
Just download the app.
Start following people  - I'm @shastess
Make sure you sign up for the notifications so you know when the people you follow are live!

Seriously Angie from Lucky Little Learners and Ashley from Schroeder's Second Grade Shenanigans are so awesome and inspiring! I am going to "flip the camera" and I am going to do my first video TODAY at about 2:30 MIDWEST time!

But my biggest takeaway from their videos has been the FIND YOUR TRIBE!
Social media is BLOWING up with #Find Your Tribe!

I have joined two tribes on Facebook and would love for you to join me!

Just click the pictures to go to the FB groups and then click JOIN!

And finally I am almost done with my Teacher Binder/Planner!!! This is based on the planner/binder I use. I have added and tweaked and am almost ready to post it on TPT! It has over 100 pages!!! Be sure to be on the look out for a full blog post coming soon!
