5 For Friday - July 3

The last two weeks have been CRAY CRAY! I am so ready to be on FULL summer break. First session of summer school was rough and second session has been great but I am ready for a total break with no alarms no getting up until I WANT to! (remind me of this when the kids are "bored" and in need of things to do).

I am going to share 5 things with you from the last 2 weeks for Doodle Bugs Teaching

Last week in Summer School it was ART week.
We went to Hallmark Kaleidoscope at Crowne Center in Kansas City it is always a GREAT field trip and it's FREE!

We also painted Birch Trees using THIS tutorial. - They turned out GREAT!
And made tile coasters - BIG thank you to Menards for donating the tiles!!
I am working getting a teacher binder/planner ready for TPT. It is the binder I created several years ago for myself I am just trying to make sure it's worthy of TPT!

I have just covers/dividers posted

and editable calendars

Click either picture to go to TPT to buy!
I am still finishing and polishing the pages and substitute binder. What do you want in a binder? I would love your feedback!!!
Last Saturday my husband was an usher at one of his Police friends' wedding.
It was the most unique wedding I have ever been to! That's for sure!!

This week at summer school was Farm week!
We went to the Deanna Rose Farmstead in Kansas City. It was amazing! Planning a family trip back there soon! It is also FREE Monday through Friday - there are activities that cost but there is plenty to see and do that doesn't!

We also went to Shatto Dairy a local dairy (30 mins away) that I have been going to for years! The kids get to milk a cow, see baby calves, see the milking process, bottling and then the best part SAMPLE several kinds of milk, cheese and butter! If you live in St. Joe or Kansas City look for Shatto milk in the grocery stores. It is the BEST milk!!!!

We saw so many cows we decided to DRAW some!!!
We had a quick drawing lesson and drew cows!
Finally we went to Phil Welch Stadium and hung out with the Mustangs baseball players!! (Farm club for those trying to figure out the tie in) It was so fun! The kids had a blast and they players were GREAT!
Finally, this cutie turned 11 Wednesday! How on earth do I have an 11 year old?!?! I feel like I'm 25 this makes that hard to pull off! Kaden is the spunkiest, neatest, most organized 11 year old I know! I am so proud to be his mom! We went to Chilis for dinner and we are going to Great Wolf Lodge later this month. He also got gift cards and money which I am sure he will put to good use!
Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful and safe 4th of July!
